Mahogany, oak and stained pine bleed tannin through ordinary primer. We use a stain-blocking system so the finish stays true instead of yellowing over the first year.

What is included
Millwork is inspected from two feet away, so it is finished to a different standard than a wall. Grain is filled, seams are caulked tight, and the coating is laid down thin and even.

How we do it
The parts of the job you do not see.
Grain, seams and edges
Open-grain wood is filled and sanded flat where a smooth painted finish is wanted. Joints get caulked, and shelf edges get the same coverage as the faces.
Sprayed on site
Built-ins cannot come apart, so they are masked and sprayed in place — plastic containment, controlled overspray, and a finish that matches the doors.
